Final Prototype Update

This will be the last update to this version of the game post-jam. I'm currently working on deciding which direction to take this game to if I choose to continue to work on it. In the meantime, enjoy these updates:

  • Removes the "reload scene" debug meant for testing only
  • Active cards animate on top of the boards on other cards
  • Music is randomly chosen at the start of the level
  • Adds more delays during enemy's turn to process what the enemy has done
  • Updates wall placements so that they never create a single card node
  • Meaning, all nodes should have at least one adjacent node so cards can be captured
  • Adds a pop-up to indicate when an "elemental boost" has been earned
  • "Combos" now happen at the end of the battles, if the attacking card did not lose against any cards, which then adds additional points.
  • Adds a pop-up to show the combos
  • Point system updated to aware points for each card play and for combos done before losing a battle
